DELACAMP Buys Minority Equity in Future Graphics
Future Graphics, LLC and DELACAMP AG, two distributors of imaging supplies
and components, announced on Feb. 14 that DELACAMP has taken a minority equity
position in Future Graphics.
As part of the move, Juergen Nuppenau, managing director of DELACAMP, becomes
the newest member of the Future Graphics board of directors.
“The Future Graphics and DELACAMP alliance is well positioned to support our
customer base with the highest quality and the latest in laser and inkjet
supplies, and most importantly, to respond to the challenge of the OEMs with
their plethora of new product offerings,” said Nuppenau. “Deriving the solutions
to these new printers represents the challenge and the opportunity to our
industry. Future Graphics and DELACAMP, as proud partners, are investing
together in the future of the remanufacturing industry by stepping up to answer
this challenge.”
The move comes after a year-long partnership between the two organizations to
better serve the global cartridge manufacturing industry. The alliance was
intended to maximize the companies’ joint resources. The organizations have a
total of 19 facilities worldwide and a joint technical team of more than 30
mechanical and electrical engineers, chemists, and other technical staff.
The purchase also brings the companies to a combined 10,000 square feet of
laboratory space, including Future Graphics’ new ink and inkjet lab in
California and DELACAMP’s new lab at its corporate facility in Hamburg,
Germany.
