HP boosts inkjet business with OEM deals
23 September 2003 – Palo Alto (CA): Hewlett-Packard (HP) has expanded the OEM relationships within its consumer inkjet printing business with new agreements with Olivetti Tecnost and Samsung Electronics.

The Two OEMs Will use HP’s inkjet technology to expand their printing portfolios with the first products shipping towards the end of the year. In return, HP will extend its inkjet business into countries where Olivetti and Samsung are strong.

Larry Lesley, SVP of HP’s imaging and printing group, said: “Beyond the relationships announced today, we will be pursuing additional OEM deals with other major consumer electronics companies.”
