Image Specialist Expands to a New Production Facility 
In its latest move to meet the growing demand for desktop and wide-format inkjet inks, Image Specialists Inc. recently completed construction and started operations in a spacious, scientifically advanced, clean-room inkjet manufacturing plant on its four-acre Long Island campus in Holtsville, NY.
The company's systems are based on over three decades of ink manufacturing experience and rely heavily on documentation, testing, and verification for product consistency and reliable print performance. All processes are front- and back-end integrated with our computerized materials register, product inventory and customer-service systems.
Even while employing meticulous technical guidelines and the industry's best practices, Image Specialists' ink plant is designed to have a benign effect on the surrounding natural environment. A dust-collection module effectively siphons and accumulates residual airborne dyes and pigments for eventual clean disposal; and wastewater is flushed through a warren of troughs underneath the flooring, and then aggregated in a large holding tank for sequential evaporation, which prevents ground and water table contamination.
