    Headline: Kodak jobs cull

22 January 2004 – Rochester (NY): Kodak will slash around 20% of its workforce by 2006 as part of its shift to a digital imaging Key Strategy.

The firm will take charges of between $1.3 billion and $1.7 billion as it dispenses with 12,000 to 15,000 jobs.

The action is expected to produce annual cost savings of $800 million to $1 billion by 2007.
