Konica Minolta Business Technologies to Release New Multi-Function Office Machines 
Slated to hit the Japanese market from Konica December 18, the 7272 works as a printer, copier, and network scanner. As a copier, it can copy 72 pages per minute (ppm) at 600dpi. With An optional Printer controller, priced at 300,000 yen (US$2,804), the 7272 becomes a network scanner that can scan 70ppm. The 7255, a 55ppm (copier) model, will also be available. Both models measure 650x766x1,140mm and weigh 216kg.
Prices are 2,650,000 yen (US$24,766) and 2,150,000 yen (US$20,093), respectively. The company aims to sell a total of 6,000 units per year in Japan.
