MAY 06 Office Depot Buys Allied Office Products for Undisclosed Amount
DELRAY
BEACH, Fla. — Office products retailer Office Depot Inc. said
Wednesday it bought privately held Allied Office Products, the largest
independent dealer of office supplies in the U.S., for an undisclosed
amount.Clifton, N.J.-based Allied has annual revenues of more than $300
million, Office Depot said. Office Depot also said its presence in the
Northeast will be boosted by the acquisition.
