    OfficeMax recognised for minority support

    2005     – Itasca (IL):OfficeMax has been ranked fourth nationwide on the 2004
    Div50 list, which recognises company support of minority and women-owned
    businesses.

    Over the years, the OP distributor has launched a number of
    successful programmes aimed to help minority and women-owned vendors grow and
    become successful. These include annual educational sponsorships, and various
    promotional and marketing initiatives.

    OfficeMax president/CEO, Chris
    Milliken, said: “We are honoured to be recognised for our ongoing commitment to
    supplier diversity and business development.”

    The company, which has
    raised its rank from ninth to fourth overall, is the only OP supplier to make
    the list for the past two years    .
