MT.
PLEASANT, Tenn. – Printing Technology Inc., an inkjet and laser
printing cartridge manufacturer, will build a manufacturing and
shipping facility here, the company said. The Chatsworth, Calif.-based
company will open a 22,000 square-foot facility with a staff of about
25 employees. Founder and CEO Peter DeSalay said he hopes to add up to
150 employees over three years. The facility, located about 50 miles
southwest of Nashville, will house inkjet cartridge manufacturing and
inkjet research and development laboratories. It will serve as the
company’s eastern U.S. distribution hub.”Our California facilities are
serving us well, but we are at maximum capacity, and the logical step
is to expand eastward,” DeSalay said. “Our Tennessee facility will
provide us with the additional space we need for our current and future
production.”
