Recycle and help save endangered species…..
ACM
Waste Management Plc is encouraging all its customers and contacts to
recycle their used printer cartridges and mobile phones and, at the
same time, help raise valuable funds for ZSL (The Zoological Society of
London). In 2005 ACM chose ZSL as its nominated charity and, in an
effort to further support ZSL’s vital conservation projects, it has
introduced a cartridge recycling scheme in conjunction with EBP
(Environmental Business Products) Limited, Europe’s biggest refiller of
printer cartridges with £1 for every cartridge and more for each mobile
phone recycled being donated to ZSL.ACM chairman, Barry Bolton, said:
“We work very closely with ZSL, as well as it being our chosen charity,
we also provide waste management and recycling services for London Zoo
and Whipsnade Wild Animal Park so the cartridge and recycling scheme
seemed a great way to help raise further funds at the same time as
encouraging people to adopt vital recycling initiatives.”Special
cartridge recycling bags printed with the ACM and ZSL logos are being
sent out to all our customers and contacts, we have had 50,000 of the
bags produced so if everyone helps and recycles just one cartridge we
could raise £50,000 for ZSL.”Yasser Olweny account manager at EBP Ltd
added: “We produce printer cartridges for many retailer brands so
consumers benefit from high quality cartridges at competitive prices
too.”This ZSL scheme is a fantastic way to encourage people to recycle
and at the same time make a valuable contribution to preserving some of
the world’s most endangered animals.”The cartridge recycling bags are
