Retail Inkjet Solutions Joins National Student Day Celebration
OBERLIN, Ohio and CARLSBAD, Calif., Aug., 2011 — The National Association of College Stores (NACS) is pleased to announce that Retail Inkjet Solutions (RIS) is joining the celebration of the first annual National Student Day.As part of their sponsorship, RIS is offering the special promotion of free inkjet cartridge refills at RIS’s partner college stores participating in National Student Day on Oct. 6."By going green and refilling their inkjet cartridges, students can also save green. And on Oct. 6, they can save a lot of green with our free refill offer. Once students try the service, they’ll be hooked on the quality, savings, and environmental benefit of the RIS InkCenter® refills. Together with NACS and our partner bookstores, we look forward to celebrating the value of social responsibility," said Mike Stanicek, chief marketing officer at RIS.

National Student Day, sponsored by NACS, is a day dedicated to celebrating and promoting social responsibility by college students. On Oct. 6, 2011, college stores across North America will be hosting a variety of activities to recognize college students who give back to their communities.
NACS is also hosting a national contest where students can submit examples of how they volunteer their time online. Stories will then be voted on by students across North America and the 10 most popular will win awards consisting of $3,000, $2,000, and $1,000 scholarships as well as seven iPads.
