    Ricoh Launches the AC205L
    WEST CALDWELL, N.J., Nov. 06– Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today introduced the AC205L, a multifunctional digital system that features digital copying, scanning, printing, and Super G3 faxing. The AC205L offers the versatility of a larger device, while delivering the functionality and cost efficiency of a small workgroup printer.A compact desktop printer, the AC205L is the ideal document management solution for a small or home office. In addition to effectively utilizing limited space, the AC205L offers features that keep costs to a minimum while increasing operational efficiency. The device couples fax, copy, scan and print tasks with the easy-to-use All-in-One Toner Cartridge and 550 maximum paper capacity to maximize time and resources. With print speeds of 22 pages per minute (ppm), the AC205L also expedites print jobs and produces high quality output in a matter of 10-15 seconds.With the advanced digital copying feature, users can automatically copy documents while attending to other tasks. Equipped with a versatile 50-sheet Bypass tray, the AC205L also allows users to print other media, including transparencies, labels, card stock and envelopes. In addition to offering enhanced copy and print capabilities, the device easily scans full-size color or black and white logos, photos, text, and graphics and standard Readiris Pro 9 OCR software converts scanned documents into text format for easy editing. Additionally, the built-in USB Flash Drive Port permits users to print documents stored on a USB drive, as well as storing files and scanning images to the USB which serves as yet another way to back up data files. Super G3 faxing completes the functionality of the Ricoh AC205L as fax communications can be prioritized and up to 320 pages can be stored into 4MB of memory. Using the Priority Transmission option, these documents can be sent by importance and at nearly three seconds per page. Furthermore, the fax memory backup function saves documents, providing access for up to 43 hours and ensuring that users never worry about losing vital documents.
