Spicers raises £9,000 for chidren’s charity

2008 – Sawston, UK Wholesaler Spicers has donated £9,000 to Make-A Wish
Foundation UK following a fundraising effort linked to a Post-It Notes
promotion.Sales linked to the promotion raised money for the
foundation, a charity that grants magical wishes to children and young
people fighting life-threatening illnesses.“We had an initial target of
£5,000 but dealers were so enthusiastic about this promotion that we
passed our target very quickly and have now raised almost double what
we were hoping for. The amount will pay for about 1.5 wishes, which is
fantastic,” explains Jamie Boomer, merchandising manager at Spicers.
