Co-branded Staples UPS Express Store Opened in Shanghai
SHANGHAI,
Jul , 2008 — Staples, Inc. , the world’s largest office supply retail
store chain, and United Parcel Service, Inc., a world’s leading express
services provider, opened a co-branded store in Shanghai on July 11,
2008.The two multinational giants, which have opened two such stores in
Beijing since 2007, located the Shanghai-based store in Xintiandi, a
business center of the Luwan District. The store has total operational
area of 330 square meters, engaged in providing easier and more
convenient services for office supply and files buyers, and UPS’ parcel
and international transportation services.The store is in service from
8:30 am to 8:00 pm on working days from Monday to Friday and from 8:30
am to 5:00 pm on Saturday.China has become the most important
international market of UPS and is creating huge momentums and demands
for the company, which is a strategic partner of Staples in the country
