The
22nd annual program in March will focus on the latest marketing data,
technology issues, and breakthroughs in paper recycling, and in ink jet
and electrostatic color printing. We will cover narrow-, wide-, and
super-wide format sectors for conventional paper, film and fabrics.
We’ve included a forward looking talk on electronic signs and displays.

Tiara
constructed the Program to include the most important issues, concerns,
and developments in the business and technology of ink jet printing.
The panel of Speakers at this year’s event will feature leading
marketing and technical experts. Among the innovative highlights of
this year’s event are talks on ink formulation, print permanence,
accelerated aging test methods, ink jet printing for desktop
photography, market analysis of wide and narrow format printing, and
specialty film products for LCD TV, Organic Light Emitting Diodes
(OLEDs), Thin Film Transistors (TFTs), and other high-tech displays.

shrink for laser-based color copiers and printers. Color markets will
be among the directions assessed by well-known analysts, while desktop

experts. This powerful, cutting edge program will once again bring
together the world’s leading producers of dry and liquid toners,
carriers, and developers, as well as photoreceptor drums and belts and
other machine components for the imaging industry.

Created
by The Tiara Group, this is an exciting new event tuned to the trends
and directions of the ink jet ink, toner, and specialty media
industries. It joins our Imaging Materials Seminar® series as a
platform for business interaction and a review of market size and
structure, trends, analyses and forecasts that spans six continents.
Tiara’s first WMIM conference in 2005 was a major success with
representatives from four continents … 2006 promises an even larger
turnout.

The
2006 International Symposium is sponsored by the International Society
for Coating Science and Technology (ISCST) and cosponsored by the
American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE); Association of
Industrial Metalizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL); and the
Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial Engineering (I
Prime), University of Minnesota. This will be the twelfth in the
continuing biannual symposia on coating science and technology. This
Symposium, with contributions by experts from Europe, Asia, and the
Americas, is the premier forum for liquid film coating and related
process phenomena. The meeting provides a platform for discussing
recent advances in the processes of applying and solidifying thin
liquid coatings. Both fundamental and applied papers are encouraged;
however, preference will be given to papers that appear to be of
interest to the broadest audience.
