THE TIARA GROUP TONER TRADE SHOWS IS NOW DISSOLVED
Principals
of the group, Art Diamond (pictured) and Terry Gorka announced
yesterday that, under a mutual and amicable agreement, they have
dissolved The Tiara Group LLC. Termination of the 10-year old event
planning and management firm, which was an offshoot of Diamond Research
Corporation (DRC), became effective on Friday, December 31, 2010.

Citing
the divestiture of its flagship annual event, the 27-year old Toner
Conference, which was licensed to PIRA International last year, and a
decline in attendance at its seminars, the two officers said they
decided to move on to pursue more attractive career opportunities.

Diamond
stated: “It’s time for me to focus my attention on exciting and
promising DRC projects, which utilize my technical background in paper
coating and new toner development. This includes our recent work on
biotoners and chemical (CPT) toners for the printer and copier
aftermarket, private market research studies of the imaging paper and
toner industries, and a demanding schedule of editing, writing and trade
show planning.”

Separately, Terry Gorka will pursue conference
planning, trade show and destination management opportunities through
his new company, Tiara Management. Gorka explained:“Recent interest in
specialized, niche conferences and seminars have piqued my interest in
developing a new generation of events that caters to vast changes in
media usage and communication.”
