    Tonernews Gives Little Credibility
to New Report about Cloned Cartridges From IDC

    By Jim Ladd

You cant believe everything you read and a perfect example of that is this recent report from IDC  called Attack of the Clones: New Kids on the Block Shake Up CEE Consumables Space it has been circulating  the web over the past few days, we believe from experience that this report a Bogus Un-true report, There is No way that IDC can Prove this report because the manufacturers of clone product do not report to any companies about their sales, it's keeped a secret for obvious reason thus not promoted by any manufacturer, especially manufacturers in Asia that make these "cloned" products they are surely not going to share information about  their sale with a US or EU (ad) agencies.

Time for the OEMs' to change the subject
You all need to know how the new reports works and how they are paid for, the OEM are the only one that buy  these very expensive reports and they work very closely with these reporting agencies like IDC to help their own  cause. the real reason this report was releases was to change the subject as to what happen last week to hp, let's not forget hp was fined 2 times over the past 10 days , the first time for $57M. from a stock  investor lawsuit and the second time from the US dept of justice for $108M for bribing public officials in Russia,  Poland And Mexico totaling $165M, let's not forget the calls to fire xerox CEO and the constant shift of crew and  personnel from other outfits like canon, it was obviously time to change the subject with a new  report about "an epidemic" of clone cartridges.

    Untrue News Articles and Reports
We have been for years noticing counterfeit news articles coming from the emea regions, by hp, canon, Epson, xerox  and others, the truth about these articles is that there is no truth to these news reports, there is seldom any  people or company named or mentioned in these bogus counterfeit toner and ink news reports, so why do the OEM's keep scaring that part of the world with untruth reports is frankly mind boggling? maybe they learned a few things from former president bush's failed presidency, and that is that "FEAR" is always a usefully tool, unfortunately the poor regular citizens of  the Emae regions are already living in fear from Monarchies so they surely do not need to be scared about toner and ink with these un-true news reports, Furthermore and we would like to clear the air about counterfeited toners and inks in the  US, EU and many other regions, the truth is that their is NO TONER OR INK COUNTERFEITING  going on in most parts of the world Period, we at Tonernews have not found any articles about counterfeited products in the US, or western EU or south America or Australia over the last 6 years and that accounts for about  98% of the worlds region.

    What's Worst?
Tonernews would like to ask you our readers Whats worst? Cloned Cartridges, counterfeit cartridges or Corporations bribing public officials around the world? CEOs' raiding millions of dollars of corporate funds or a few counterfeit cartridges popping up in Africa?.

    Summary
Do clone cartridges take a bite out of the industry, probably!

Are the OEMs' loosing millions because of cloned and reman cartridges, probably!

Can we all stop it from happening,
NO since cloned cartridges and reman cartridges are still  legal!

What all this come down to is prices and if the product works fine, consumers don't really care about cloned,  reman or OEM's, they just look at the bottom line and decide what is really best for their pockets.
