Toners 2014 Conference Nears-Sponsor and Attendee List Grows

Ventura, Calif. – With the Toners 2014 Conference nearing (June 2-4, 2014), sponsor support is growing and the attendee list is already 20 percent larger than last year, spanning toner and inkjet media, OEMs, and production printing.
The latest sponsors are Memjet and Xanté who are added to eleven others including Actionable Intelligence, Diamond Research Corporation, Esprix Technologies, Everlight Chemical, Hosokawa Micron Powder Systems, Konica Minolta, Netzsch, Orient Corporation of America, Trend Tone Imaging, Inc., and Ultrex.
Memjet produces some of the fastest printer engines in the industry. Xanté produces toner and inkjet systems for high-end graphics and prepress markets including wide format printing. Robert Ross, Founder and CEO of Xanté, will be the conference keynote speaker. An added confirmed speaker is Chris Povrik from Coates Toners who will present a talk on Specialty Toners.
The conference, in its 30th year, will have a number of "firsts."

Two tutorials will precede the conference presentations. John Cooper, CEO, Toner Research Services will deliver a classroom-style talk that provides a basic understanding of the electrophotographic imaging process, toner properties, formulation and manufacturing methods.
The second tutorial, Ink Jet Ink 101, by Ken Kisner, President, Molecule Digital, will cover the fundamentals of inkjet printing and the broad variety of water, solvent and eco-solvent based inkjet inks that serve a applications from office imaging to wide format vehicle wraps, fabrics and garments, electronic circuit boards, ceramic imaging. It will cover the ongoing debate between inkjet and toner technology; the latest advances in inkjet printhead design, and the cost per page economics of inkjet versus toner-based printers.
