the world’s fastest digital black-and-white printer
Xerox has developed and released the fastest digital black-and-white sheet-fed printing system in the world
the Nuvera Digital Duplex Printer produces 288 black-and-white A4 images per minute, or 144 duplex sheets per minute, firmly establishing the device as the fastest in its class.Aimed at book publishers and companies that print manuals and graphic art applications, the Nuvera 288 Digital Duplex Printer halves the time taken to complete large commercial print jobs as the machine prints documents on both sides simultaneously. The machine maximises production hours. It uses a second engine module to continue printing, with full support for all the printer’s capabilities, including duplex printing, even when one engine module is down for maintenance or repair. The Nuvera 288 is the only system that delivers full backup in a single box. This is an important benefit for the high-pressure on-demand digital printing environment.Another Xerox innovation is the emulsion aggregation (EA) toner, used by the system, that produces sharper images, improved fine lines and an overall offset lithographic look and feel to the printed page. Application possibilities are also expanded with enhanced media flexibility that can be used on the machine, such as coated and uncoated paper including matte, silk, gloss and oversize stocks up to 320 x 470mm.’Xerox continues to raise the benchmark for product innovation and quality,’ said Paul Haglich, Xerox marketing manager: Production Systems group at Bytes Document Solutions, authorised distributor of Xerox products and solutions to 24 sub-Saharan countries. ‘Through its constant innovation the company continues to remain ahead of the competition and maintain its market share.’
