Xerox Brazil sales up 32 per cent
JuLY 2005 – Rio de Janeiro (BRA): Xerox Brazil has reported that Q1 sales of office equipment grew 32 per cent compared to Q1 2004. The company’s services division also reported a 10 per cent growth in Q1 compared to the previous year.

Ricardo Karbage, marketing director of Xerox Brazil has said that he expects the company to finish 2005 with 30 per cent growth on 2004’s income.

Xerox is hoping to recover market share lost to its big rivals by embarking on a more aggressive strategy in Brazil. The company hopes to increase its market share of 3 per cent in the printers market to 10 per cent this year, and to 15 per cent by the end of 2006.
