Uk’s EBP To Take Over German Inkjet Manufacturer Compedo GmbH.
Consolidation in the European hard copy industry is progressing inexorably. As recently became known, the British remanufacturer Environmental Business Products Ltd. (EBP) took over the German inkjet manufacturer Compedo GmbH. Compedo, founded in 1987 and based in Iserlohn, supplies inkjet suppliers – including EBP – with bulk ink and is also a supplier of ink bottles and finished inkjet cartridges as well as laser toner cartridges.Compedo company founder Richard Pennekamp will continue to lead the company and bring his expertise to the British group even after the acquisition.
The London-based EBP group claims to have around 200 employees and most recently generated sales of over EUR 30 million.
