MELVILLE, N.Y., April 23, 2024 — In a significant move to protect consumers and businesses, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has announced a new partnership with Canon U.S.A., Inc. The goal of this collaboration is to prevent counterfeit products from entering the United States.

Donation of Verification Tools: As part of CBP’s Donations Acceptance Program, Canon will generously donate 328 verification tools to CBP cargo and mail facilities. These tools will aid in authenticating a variety of Canon merchandise.
