With war in the air, toner suppliers and manufacturers in Russia might have a hard time selling product.
Last i was told about 5 years ago, 90% of the toner that is sold in Russia was Chinese Clone Product. Of course, those numbers are probably no longer accurate since OEM’s and the reman industry has made some headways in bringing back the industry to a more ecofriendly era. Nevertheless, these trying times have thrown a wrench into the future of Russian toner Suppliers and Manufacturers by a useless war between neighboring countries and the west.
Covid, the trade-war, the price of gas and goods, the supply chain in constrain, and now sanctions are all going to be contributing factors that will make things even more difficult and challenging for society. The European Union must be shacking in its boots and considering many options for its own survival and the for the defense of its alliances. Let’s not forget our friendly Chinese Gov., since Xi has aligned himself with Russia’s Putin and has already made provisional arrangements for this act of aggression.
This article is obviously not about Russian toner but more about survival. It’s unthinkable that in this day and age that dictators are still around to disrupt humanity. We have come so far as a society, and now greed and fear are poised to take us back to recklessness. Let’s be vigilant and hopeful for the future of mankind, let’s use our knowledge of print to bring people together. Let’s advocate for investments in the future. A future that is open, cooperative, egalitarian, peaceful, in harmony with nature, and with public good as a driving force.
