Xerox Partners with New York
Islanders and UBS Arena in Multi-Year Deal.
October 22, 2024, Norwalk, Conn. – The New York Islanders and UBS Arena have announced a new partnership naming Xerox as the official supplier of office equipment and services. Under this multi-year agreement, Xerox will provide advanced workplace technologies, including multi-function printers and robotic process automation, while also collaborating on community initiatives alongside the Islanders and venue management firm Oak View Group (OVG). The partnership will focus on key sustainability and diversity programs throughout its duration.“Xerox is much more than just a printing company; they are a global leader in workplace technology. Their involvement with the New York Islanders and UBS Arena highlights our vision for Belmont,” said Dan Griffis, President of Global Partnerships at OVG. “This partnership not only enhances business operations but also fosters community engagement, deepening connections across Long Island and supporting crucial educational and hockey initiatives.”
“We’re excited to partner with the New York Islanders and UBS Arena, bringing innovative workplace technologies to enhance their operations,” said Deena LaMarque Piquion, Chief Growth and Disruption Officer at Xerox. “This partnership reflects our dedication to community support, and we look forward to working with the Islanders to elevate educational and hockey programs across Long Island. Together, we aim to create a positive impact both on and off the ice.”
As part of the partnership, Xerox will hold naming rights to the business networking suite at UBS Arena, which will be known as the Xerox Lounge 19. OVG will support Xerox through initiatives like the OVG Women’s Network and Green Operations & Advanced Leadership, focusing on sustainability in sports and entertainment venues.
Xerox will also be a key partner for several longstanding Islanders initiatives:
Teacher of the Month: Long Island teachers can be nominated for this monthly award, with the winner receiving a personalized Islanders jersey and recognition on the team’s website and social media. Xerox will also contribute to a cause of the winner’s choice.Girls Hockey Programs: Xerox will support tournament teams with jerseys and coaching uniforms, as well as provide leadership training for coaches and officials. They will also be involved in the Female Leadership & Coaching Summit.
New York Islanders Women in Sports Night: Xerox will contribute to this event, which brings together fans, partners, and influential women in sports to discuss important topics and network.
