It marks the end of an era in Dundalk as Xerox confirmed that its toner manufacturing facility will close at the end of the year, with the last remaining workers receiving redundancy packages in recent days. A Xerox spokesperson said the decision is part of efforts to streamline the business and better align with customer needs, with some toner production set to move to the company’s Webster, New York facility. He thanked employees for their long-standing dedication and said the Dundalk site has been sold for future development.
