ITS NOT OVER!!! Ninestar to Keep Pursuing its Legal Rights, Seeks to Restore its Reputation. Ninestar Corporation, a leading printer manufacturer from China, is not giving up on its legal battle against the U.S. government over its inclusion in the Entity List of the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA).
The UFLPA prohibits the importation of products made with forced labor from the Xinjiang region of China, where the U.S. government alleges that the Chinese government is committing human rights violations against the Uyghur minority. Ninestar claims that it has no involvement in forced labor or human rights abuses in Xinjiang, and that the U.S. government added it to the Entity List without proper evidence or justification.
Ninestar filed a lawsuit and a motion for a preliminary injunction to stop the enforcement of the Entity List before the U.S. Court of International Trade (CIT). The CIT rejected the motion for a preliminary injunction on February 27, 2024, but allowed the lawsuit to continue. Ninestar stated that it will keep pursuing its legal rights and seek to restore its reputation.
