Aster Graphics and Ninestar: Serial Counterfeiters on Amazon.
December 11, 2025 — Aster Graphics and Ninestar are at it again—selling counterfeit HP toner cartridges on Amazon with impunity according to Canon and Action-intell.com. This isn’t their first time getting caught, and frankly, it won’t be their last—because Amazon continues to turn a blind eye and enables these serial counterfeiters to flood the marketplace with fakes.
Let’s get this straight: Aster and Ninestar have been busted multiple times in multiple continents for selling counterfeit toner. They’ve already been taken to court in Europe, North America, and Asia for intellectual property theft. But somehow, these companies are still able to operate, still able to flood Amazon with fake cartridges that violate HP’s patents and ruin consumers’ printers. And Amazon? They’re either too lazy or too complicit to stop it.
The problem isn’t just these counterfeiters. It’s Amazon’s negligence. Amazon is well aware of these companies’ history of deceptive practices, yet they keep allowing them to sell. Counterfeit HP toner doesn’t just threaten HP’s patents—it threatens consumer safety. These cartridges are often defective, causing poor print quality, printer malfunctions, and in some cases, even permanent damage to machines. But Amazon, with all its supposed power and oversight, lets this continue—because it doesn’t want to lose out on the cheap third-party sales that pad its profits.
This is complicity—plain and simple. Aster and Ninestar are knowingly profiting off of fake products, deceiving customers into thinking they’re buying legitimate, affordable alternatives when they’re really getting inferior garbage. And Amazon, as the platform that lets them operate, is just as guilty for letting these sellers flood the market with low-quality, counterfeit goods. The truth is, Amazon has the power to take these listings down immediately, but it chooses not to. Why? Because it’s more profitable to let the counterfeiters thrive and keep taking their cut.
This is not just a failure of oversight; it’s a blatant betrayal of consumers. How many times does Aster and Ninestar have to be caught selling fake toner before we stop letting them off the hook? How many consumers need to report printer damage before Amazon steps in? If this is what the e-commerce giant is willing to tolerate, it’s no wonder the marketplace is full of counterfeit products. It’s time for Aster Graphics and Ninestar to be shut down.
