Dynamic Cassette International (DCI) is ramping up its sustainability efforts with the launch of a new initiative focused on eco-friendly technology. This move is a direct response to the growing demand for sustainable alternatives as businesses and consumers increasingly seek greener tech options.
As a global leader in the remanufacturing of inkjet cartridges, DCI has set industry benchmarks for quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility for over 40 years. With more than 6 million tonnes of e-waste ending up in UK landfills annually, DCI is expanding its sustainability efforts as part of its broader mission to reduce electronic waste.

DCI’s recycling arm, The Recycling Factory (TRF), has already made a significant mark in the refurbished tech industry, particularly with its successful printer collection program. TRF will now take the lead in collecting and refurbishing laptops, continuing its commitment to minimizing landfill waste and extending the lifecycle of tech products. The entire refurbishment process will be carried out in-house at DCI’s state-of-the-art facility by a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring both quality and efficiency.
Phil Sneath, Commercial Director at DCI, comments, “Our entry into the refurbished laptop market is a strategic move for DCI. We’re responding to the increasing demand for sustainable IT solutions, and we’re committed to making eco-friendly tech accessible to both businesses and consumers.”
DCI is proud to continue leading the charge in environmental responsibility, investing in high-quality processes that align with its long-term sustainability goals. These initiatives underscore DCI’s ongoing commitment to reducing e-waste and driving meaningful environmental change.
