    Despite being banned from selling in the U.S., Ninestar Technology continues to target U.S. resellers with clone toner and ink cartridges claiming to be remanufactuered. The company’s latest pitch (see below) promotes products like Epson T10W, Brother TN835/TN925, and Canon T13/T12 cartridges, claiming exclusivity and a boost to sales. However, these products are likely fakes—designed for single-use and poor durability—rather than legitimate remanufactured items.

    While Ninestar claims its products are remanufactured, they fail to meet the quality standards of OEM products and may lead to printer damage, poor print quality, and hazardous leaks. These cloned cartridges are illegal under U.S. trade law, violating intellectual property rights and posing serious risks to consumers.

    Ninestar’s aggressive marketing to U.S. dealers not only violates trade restrictions, but also exposes resellers to legal risks. Reselling counterfeit products could lead to lawsuits and financial penalties from both U.S. regulatory bodies and major printer manufacturers like Epson, Brother, and Canon.

    It’s essential that U.S. authorities take stronger action to prevent Ninestar and other counterfeit suppliers from flooding the market. Resellers must stay vigilant and avoid dealing in products that undermine consumer safety and violate U.S. law.
