    Epson Sues Burkwitz Solutions, Inc.,
Over Counterfeit Ink Cartridges and Ink Bottles.

This lawsuit filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division, addresses multiple violations of intellectual property rights by the defendants, Burkwitz Solutions, Inc., Armen Sargsyan, and Simon Mikail. The plaintiffs, Seiko Epson Corporation, Epson America, Inc., and Epson Portland Inc. (collectively referred to as “Epson”), are seeking redress for patent infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition arising from the unauthorized use of their patents and trademarks.

The complaint alleges that the defendants have infringed on two of Epson’s patents for ink cartridges and related technology and have unlawfully used Epson’s registered trademarks on aftermarket ink cartridges and ink bottles designed for use with Epson printers.
