Fujifilm Statement on ITC Final Determination
Regarding Duties on Aluminum Lithographic Printing Plates. HANOVER PARK, ILL. – October 22, 2024 – FUJIFILM North America Corporation, Graphic Communication Division, issued the following statement from Hidetoshi (Toshi) Kino in response to the U.S. International Trade Commission’s (ITC) final determination on antidumping (AD) and countervailing duties (CVD) for imports of aluminum lithographic printing plates from Japan and China:
“We are disappointed by the ITC’s decision today. Fujifilm is committed to being a responsible supplier of aluminum lithographic printing plates. Our customers choose our products for their innovative technology, superior features, and exceptional service. The ITC’s written decision and the reasoning behind today’s affirmative vote will be published on November 12. We will then evaluate the decision and consider our options, including the possibility of an appeal.”
