WASHINGTON – U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) Director Hugh Nathanial Halpern has appointed Ravinder Birdi as the Agency’s new Managing Director of Government Integrated Print Services (GIPS). In his role, Birdi will lead the team responsible for the production and publication of critical government documents, including the Congressional Record, Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations, the President’s Budget, and various legislative materials such as bills, hearings, and reports. With this appointment, Birdi will oversee GIPS’ efforts to ensure that essential government publications are produced efficiently and accurately, supporting the transparency and functionality of the federal government.
