    Tokyo (September 17, 2024) – Konica Minolta, Inc. has officially announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, KONICA MINOLTA FPT Solution Labs Vietnam Co., Ltd., in Vietnam. This wholly owned subsidiary is part of KONICA MINOLTA FPT Solution Labs, Inc., a joint venture with FPT Japan Holdings Co., Ltd. (FPT Japan).

    Founded in April 2024, KONICA MINOLTA FPT Solution Labs aims to enhance the development process of Multi-Function Printer (MFP) software while improving the company’s value proposition for customers. The new subsidiary will serve as a dedicated development hub in Vietnam to support this strategic vision.

    As digital transformation accelerates and AI becomes increasingly prevalent, the demand for skilled IT professionals, particularly software developers, has evolved significantly. Retaining these professionals is a growing challenge.
