The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) – Okara Campus is making strides toward a sustainable future with the launch of the “Green Pakistan: Sustainable Development, Green Energy & Environmental Innovation Program.” This pioneering initiative marks the beginning of a new era in environmental leadership, driven by student engagement and action. With the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Zulfiqar Ali and Principal Dr. Tahir Munir Butt, UAF Okara Campus is becoming a beacon of sustainability.
The program encourages students to take an active role in tree planting, zero-waste initiatives, recycling campaigns, renewable energy demonstrations, sustainability workshops, environmental awareness walks, and community outreach programs.
