1 Day After The Hong Kong Rumor, Lexmark Lays Off 1,000 Employees.
Are Lexmark And Ninestar Reading Tonernews.com?

Well well well, things seem to be happening very fast these days in the consumables toner industry. Last Thursdays we posted a rumor that Lexmark had accounting issues with the Hong-Kong Government(LINK) and then the following day Lexmark reports laying off 1,000 employees?!(LINK).

China's Ninestar the present owners of Lexmark seem to be in a bind, they are trying so hard to be like other OEM's in the industry but are making too many mistakes along the way. They want to be accepted as an honest legitimate OEM, but now accounting issues are popping up in their own country and even in Hong Kong. So why is Ninestar having so many issues?.

Not Honest With Their Practices And Their Products.
It’s pretty simply, they are not honest with their views, their practices and their products, let's take it from the beginning, 1) you cannot sell counterfeit clone toners to an industry and try to be an OEM at the same time, 2) you cannot try to control the flow of toner chips by monopolizing and industry , 3) you cannot hide in China and issue stock shares around the world and make up B.S. accounting numbers, 4) you cannot insert and dispose of your countries toxic chemicals in your toner consumables and sell it to the west and the rest of the world, 5) you can't sell your products around the world and never have any sustainability/recycling initiatives to back it up especially in your own country, and so on ….. .

It takes a lot of hard work to be a legitimate OEM, there are many hurdles and mountains to climb. We know that the Chinese government keep trowing money at Ninestar with the hope's of them getting it right, but for how long and for how many more Billions?. Maybe China's Premier Xi should take another look at this particular investments?.
