MSE Offers ‘Green’ Business Practices and Consumer Choice

Micro Solutions Enterprises (MSE), a global leader in aftermarket imaging consumables, has been recognized for successfully combining green business practices with technological innovation while also providing consumer choice.

Van Nuys, CA September 2012 Micro Solutions Enterprises (MSE), a global leader in aftermarket imaging consumables, has been recognized for successfully combining green business practices with technological innovation while also providing consumer choice.

For almost two decades, MSE has been a leader in the aftermarket imaging supplies industry, providing high-quality consumables to independent dealers in the U.S. and abroad.

Started in 1994 in southern California by Yoel Wazana, MSE opened as a reseller of aftermarket toner and ink jet cartridges.

However, in order to better control product quality, the decision was made in 1997 to stop reselling and begin manufacturing.

Over the years, MSE has excelled as both a company devoted to technological innovation and as a deeply committed ‘green’ company, recycling waste and reusing empty toner cartridges in the remanufacture of aftermarket toner cartridges.

“We are very proud to offer a quality product while also doing our part to promote environmental sustainability,” says Yoel Wazana, president, MSE. “It’s very gratifying when you are able to offer a product that not only ensures considerable savings over high-cost original toner, but also a product that keeps millions of pounds of waste from landfills and conserves oil."

MSE has received many global certifications, including the Nordic Ecolabel from Nordic Swann, a voluntary eco-labeling program that evaluates a product’s environmental impact, and WRAP, a California-based reduction program that recognizes companies for outstanding efforts in waste reduction.

MSE is also in compliance with ISO 14001, which helps organizations minimize their environmental impact, as well as RoHS and REACH, chemical and hazardous waste standards and restrictions implemented by the EU.

MSE’s proudest achievement, however, is keeping the bulky empty plastic toner cartridges out of our nation’s over-burdened landfills.

Since 1994 MSE has recycled over 15 million ink and toner cartridges, preventing tens of thousands of cubic yards of waste from entering landfills.

Founded in 1994 by Yoel Wazana, MSE is the largest remanufacturer with U.S.-based production facilities and a leading-edge innovator in the marketplace. MSE pioneered the process of Intelligent Re-Engineering™, which employs patented technologies, proprietary processes, and stringent testing methodologies that result in the market’s best alternative to high-cost OEM print consumables. MSE has sales and distribution in Canada, Europe (UK and the Netherlands), Israel, UAE, Brazil, and USA (California and Pennsylvania).
