NINESTAR PARTNERS-UP WITH FRANCE’s MBP
Partnership between MBP and NINESTAR for the Medpi exhibition 2011
The European group MBP goes into partnership with the Chinese compatible cartridge manufacturer Ninestar for the Medpi exhibition, which will take place from May 17th to May 20th 2011 at the Grimaldi Forum of the Principality of Monaco, on booth U02, DIAGHILEV Hall.
The Ninestar group, whose headquarters are in China in the Cantonese region, with its 3,500 employees and 300 million turnover, is among the leading compatible consumable manufacturing groups worldwide. The Asian group is only 10 years old, and already owns a highly specialized technological expertise, which enables MBP to strengthen its offer, while respecting OEM manufacturers’ intellectual rights and patents. Indeed, the Ninestar group, thanks to its large scale, does considerable investments in R&D, so as to find innovative solutions which comply with patents. For instance, Ninestar draws, develops and produces its own chips for inkjet cartridges. These chips work the same way as OEM cartridges, and at the same time they take OEM manufacturers’ intellectual property aspects and patents into consideration. More than one million chips are sold each month. Ninestar benefits from a sizeable production capacity, as the group owns more than 70% of the compatible chip market in the world.
With this partnership, MBP completes its range of compatible cartridges with high quality products.
In exchange for which the MBP group gives its partner Ninestar an opening-up to Europe and Northern Africa. Indeed, MBP, one of the European leading compatible manufacturers with 150 employees and a turnover of 16 million Euros, bought out a Spanish company in 2010, and has been established in Morocco for 3 years.
The partnership between MBP and Ninestar will enable both partners to create a real synergy for their distribution of laser and inkjet cartridges in Europe and Africa and therefore to offer their clients a stronger commercial offer.
