New & Unused OEM Lexmark Toner Cartridges
Produced Before 2016 And Earlier Will Fail & Will No longer Be Usable.

    Image result for unsupported
China’s Lexmark has rendered very expensive OEM cartridges as unsupported and no longer usable. In an attempt to knock out the aftermarket cartridge industry, which relies on using serial numbers from spent OEM chips, Lexmark’s new firmware rejects all serial numbers from 2016 and back.
This means even Lexmark OEM cartridges produced before that point in 2016 will fail.

Resellers and users of Lexmark OEM cartridges that still have older Lexmark OEM cartridge inventory will experience inoperable cartridges.

As much as companies try to rotate their inventory, it is very common to see product that is used years later, and now Lexmark has rendered those very expensive OEM cartridges as unsupported and no longer usable.
