The product page on store.xerox.eu claims the toner is “remanufactured,” a term typically reserved for cartridges that have been previously used, professionally cleaned, refilled, and tested. However, these “Everyday Toner” cartridges are in fact new clone products manufactured in China, without any prior use or remanufacturing process.This distinction is crucial for consumers who prioritize quality, reliability, and environmental impact. Genuine remanufactured cartridges reduce waste by reusing original hardware components, while clones often employ cheaper materials and components, leading to potential quality and compatibility issues. It’s important to note that the Xerox Store website is owned and operated by Supplies Distributors S.A., independently of Xerox Corporation, though Xerox licenses the site. All transactions are conducted between customers and Supplies Distributors S.A., which manages and hosts the website.
