Canon is starting the new year with good news: as of January 1st, the company has extended its manufacturer’s warranty on many imaging products from one to two years.
The company is thus following its claim of offering customers not only technologically advanced products but also the best service. The participating products also include various inkjet printers and MFPs, laser printers and multifunction laser printers from the “i-SENSYS” series, pocket calculators and document scanners from the “image FORMULA” series.
Customers who bought a Canon product further in the past can also be happy: the extension of the manufacturer’s warranty also applies retrospectively to products purchased after January 1, 2020. The new guarantee applies to all products that are accompanied by the EWS guarantee card. Certain broadcast products and cine lenses, consumables such as ink and printer paper, software, wearing parts and accessories are excluded from the warranty extension.
