Fujifilm’s Toner Cartridge Recycling Hub Opens in Tilburg, Netherlands.
In June, Fujifilm Business Innovation launched its Circular Manufacturing Centre in Tilburg, the Netherlands, dedicated to refurbishing its own toner cartridges. Spanning 1,000 square meters, this facility focuses on renewing toner cartridges for printers across Europe.

The process involves disassembling, cleaning, and thoroughly inspecting collected consumables. Parts are replaced as necessary before cartridges are reassembled and marketed as new products for the European market. Fujifilm follows a policy similar to Brother’s, making no distinction between newly manufactured and refurbished cartridges.
Looking ahead, Fujifilm plans to extend these remanufacturing capabilities to other products such as multifunction printers (MFPs) and production printer parts. The facility operates entirely on electricity sourced from its own wind turbines and purchased renewable sources, enabling Fujifilm to claim nearly zero CO2 emissions from its electricity consumption.
This initiative is part of Fujifilm’s strategy to enter Europe’s A3 MFP market in the current year.
