The Canadian MFP/Copier Market: Fourth Quarter 2003
The fourth quarter was a mixed bag for the document imaging world. The business multifunction and SOHO markets enjoyed solid growth, the business single function market remained flat, and the fax- based MFP market weathered a downturn.
In the business multifunction arena, vendors successfully ended a two-quarter long period of virtually no growth with a stellar Q4. Shipments increased an impressive 39%. Xerox took first place from Canon in the vendor standings and the recently formed Konica Minolta came in third.
